Rabies Awareness Stand Set Up at Nazilli State Hospital for September 28 World Rabies Day
An information stand was set up at Nazilli State Hospital to raise awareness about rabies as part of the September 28 World Rabies Day observance.
During the event—attended by Health Care Services Manager Sermin Volaka—citizens and hospital staff were informed about rabies, its modes of transmission, prevention methods, and the necessary steps to take following potential exposure.
It was highlighted that while rabies can lead to serious consequences if not treated promptly, it is a preventable disease through proper protection and early intervention; the importance of taking necessary precautions, especially during interactions with animals, was emphasized.
As Nazilli State Hospital, we continue our awareness-raising efforts aimed at protecting public health.
