Information Stand Set Up at Nazilli State Hospital Regarding Extreme Heat
An information stand was set up at the entrance of the outpatient clinic at Nazilli State Hospital to raise awareness about the effects of extreme heat on health and the precautions that should be taken.
Patients and their relatives visiting the stand were informed about the negative effects of hot weather, especially on children, the elderly, and individuals with chronic diseases. They were also given information about precautions that can be taken, such as consuming enough fluids during the day, avoiding going outside during the hottest hours of the day, choosing appropriate and light-colored clothing, and staying in cool environments.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness among citizens about health problems related to extreme heat and to help them protect their health during hot weather.
