Information Stands Opened at Nazilli State Hospital as Part of World Breastfeeding Week
As part of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7), information stands were opened at Nazilli State Hospital to draw attention to the importance of breast milk and the positive effects of breastfeeding on the health of both mother and baby.
At the information stand set up in front of the Breastfeeding Clinic, mothers and expectant mothers were informed about the importance of breast milk in the healthy growth and development of babies, correct breastfeeding techniques, the benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby, and the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months.
An information stand was also opened in the Maternity Ward, providing information to new mothers and expectant mothers about breastfeeding, breast milk, and the postpartum period. Traditional postpartum sherbet was also served as part of the event for new mothers. Healthcare professionals answered mothers' questions and provided counseling on potential problems during breastfeeding, correct breastfeeding methods, and the importance of breast milk for infant health. As Nazilli State Hospital, we continue our efforts to raise awareness about breast milk and breastfeeding within the scope of World Breastfeeding Week. Breast milk is the best start for your baby.
