Nazilli State Hospital Continues Antenatal Education Programs for Expectant Mothers

Nazilli District Governor Huriye Küpeli Kan attended the certificate ceremony held for expectant mothers and their spouses who successfully completed their training at the Antenatal Education Program operating within Nazilli State Hospital. As part of the Antenatal Education Program, which is held in the evenings for working expectant mothers, 10 pregnant women in this group, accompanied by their spouses, completed their training and graduated. Throughout 2025, a total of 828 pregnant women received training, both day and night, as part of the Antenatal Education Programs. In the first four months of 2026, 300 pregnant women benefited from these trainings. The main aim of the training programs is to prepare expectant mothers physically and psychologically for childbirth, reduce their fears of childbirth, and ensure they have a conscious birthing process. The program also provides knowledge and skills in natural childbirth, pain management, and adopting new roles during the transition to motherhood. In addition, comprehensive training is provided on infant care, breastfeeding, and the postpartum period, aiming to prepare expectant mothers for this process.

The Nazilli State Hospital Pregnancy School continues to support maternal and infant health through the training it offers, contributing to the upbringing of informed and healthy generations.
