Colon Cancer Awareness Stand Opened at Nazilli State Hospital
An information stand was set up at Nazilli State Hospital to raise awareness about colon cancer. Located at the hospital entrance, the stand provided citizens with information about the importance of early detection, risk factors, and prevention methods for colon cancer.
Midwife Sultan Keyik from KETEM and Dr. Yiğit Can Meral from the Healthy Living Center participated in the event, providing information to citizens. The health personnel emphasized that regular screenings are life-saving. As part of the awareness campaign, 100 citizens were given fecal occult blood test kits, and the importance of early diagnosis was demonstrated practically.
Nazilli State Hospital officials stated that awareness activities aimed at protecting public health will continue uninterrupted.
