Information Stand Opens at Nazilli State Hospital as Part of “Health Program During Ramadan”
An information stand has been set up at Nazilli State Hospital as part of the “Health Program During Ramadan” to strengthen public health literacy, promote healthy lifestyle habits, increase awareness of access to healthcare services, and expand the use of preventive healthcare services. The event, attended by hospital management, provided citizens with information on healthy living during Ramadan. Dieticians, members of the pregnancy school unit, cancer unit, smoking cessation clinic, and training nurses were on duty at the stand, providing guidance on various topics. The event included information on balanced and healthy nutrition during Ramadan, precautions during pregnancy, the importance of cancer screenings, and methods of quitting smoking. Questions from citizens were also answered by expert healthcare personnel. Nazilli State Hospital management stated that information activities aimed at protecting and improving public health will continue at regular intervals. These efforts aim to raise awareness among citizens about preventive healthcare services and promote healthy lifestyle habits.
