An information booth was opened at our hospital to raise awareness about the negative effects of extreme heat.
Citizens were provided with information on ways to protect themselves from heat stroke, proper fluid intake and nutrition recommendations, and important points for those in high-risk groups.
In a statement on the subject, our hospital's Chief Physician, Specialist Dr. Necati Akkaya, said, "Excessive heat can pose serious health risks, especially for the elderly, children, and individuals with chronic illnesses. To protect your health, be sure to drink plenty of fluids, stay in cool, shaded areas, and avoid going outside during peak sunlight hours. Our hospital will continue its efforts to protect the health of our people."
