Nazilli State Hospital hosted a meaningful celebration program as part of Nursing Week, May 12-18. The event, organized to appreciate the devoted work of nurses, who are an integral part of health services, was held with intense participation.
The program was attended by Provincial Health Directorate Public Hospitals Services Director Dr. Mete Erki, Health Services Deputy Director Dr. Taner Tamer, Mehmet Yılmaz, District Health Director Dr. Şule Akbaş, our Hospital Chief Physician Specialist Dr. Necati Akkaya, hospital managers, doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel.
In his opening speech, Public Hospitals Services Director Dr. Mete Erki emphasized that nursing is a sacred profession and said, “Our nurses are the symbol of compassion and patience, touching human lives day and night. Their sacrifices are the backbone of our healthcare system.”
The celebration ended with a cake cutting and a breathing exercise given to the staff. The participants expressed that this meaningful day, spent in unity and solidarity, was important in terms of professional motivation.
Nazilli State Hospital celebrated Nursing Week and thanked all healthcare professionals for their efforts.
