Our patient J.M. (27), who was brought to the emergency department of our Nazilli State Hospital with complaints of loss of consciousness, vomiting, headache and drowsiness, was transferred to Izmir City Hospital by ambulance helicopter.
Upon requesting a brain tomography, our patient underwent emergency surgery with the diagnosis of intraparenchymal hemorrhage, and as a result of the decision to transfer the patient to another hospital for further diagnosis and treatment after a successful surgery, a helicopter ambulance was requested by the Provincial Ambulance Service Chief Physician Command Control Center under the coordination of our Provincial Directorate of Health.
The Ministry of Health allocated a helicopter ambulance to our Directorate and our patient was transferred to Izmir City Hospital by air.
We wish our patient a speedy recovery.
